She appreciated his effort at being helpful without being too helpful. As hard as she tried to remind herself that she really was injured pretty badly and probably could use the help, she still wanted to do it all herself. It bugged her to be to helpless. She was the one who was supposed to take care of Sam, damnit. It was her job. Without even being able to drive, though, she had to admit he was a little more capable than she was right now.

"Don't forget my burger, dude." She reminded him for at least the eighth time, just to get a rise out of him and because it gave her a good excuse to slide across the seat and curl up to him to poke him with one splinted hand.
